Company Introduction
Harold Beck & Sons, Inc. A 100% employee-owned company Established in 1936 Harold Beck & Sons, Inc., is a 100% employee-owned electric actuator manufacturer headquartered in Newtown, Pennsylvania, that has been manufacturing high-quality electric actuators for industrial valves and dampers since 1936. Designed for the harshest of industrial environments, our electric actuator company’s unique technology make Beck actuators the right choice for any application whether it requires precise continuous modulation or simply reliable open-close control. Beck continues the tradition of top-notch, direct-factory support that is simply unmatched by other actuator manufacturers. Beck got its start in the steel and aluminum industry but Beck actuators have since become a quality benchmark in the electric power industry, water and wastewater, glass, cement, paper and many more. Our electric actuator company, which began in the steel mills of Pittsburgh and Cleveland, now includes installations in more than 70 countries around the world, with sales offices in California, Texas, Colorado and India, and factory-trained sales agents in several other countries. After 85 years of family ownership, Harold Beck & Sons, Inc., officially became an employee-owned electric actuator company on December 30, 2021. This move ensured that all the unique qualities that have defined the company since 1936 will remain intact so Beck can continue to offer the highest quality industrial actuators and provide the support customers expect from Beck. Our employees are quite literally invested in our success, which is predicated on the successful outcomes we create for our customers. Our Founder Harold C.
